After a two year hiatus, there will be three final concerts at Pavlov featuring some of the greatest jazz musicians in Holland. The final concert features a quartet of forward thinking masters of jazz in Europe who need absolutely no introduction: Martijn van Iterson on guitar, Juraj Stanik on piano, Steven Willem Zwanink on bass, and Martijn Vink on drums.
Roots Motion (formerly EJP) has hosted some of the very best jazz in Holland at Pavlov in The Hague, going all the way back to 2007, with weekly Sunday afternoon concerts anchored by the great Frans Elsen, and Tuesday night concerts and jam sessions packing the house.
The lists of greats who played at Pavlov is long and prestigious; Barry Harris, Peter Bernstein, Jeremy Pelt, Gary Smulyan, Harry Allen, Now vs. Now, Ari Hoenig, Leon Parker, Willie Jones III, Ferdinand Povel, Rita Reys, Ack van Rooyen, and many, many more.
